SUMMARY:Testament / EYE.net 2.0
DESCRIPTION:The play ‘Testament’ is the first to be performed as part of the theatre festival created as a result of the EYE.net 2.0 project ( https://kalendar.novisad2022.rs/en/events/european-youth-engagement-network-2-0-%d0%b5ye-net-2-0-3/ ) (European Youth Engagement Network 2.0), on 5 April at 6 p.m. in the SCC Factory. The play will be performed by project participants from Serbia, and the festival is part of the School of the Future ( https://kalendar.novisad2022.rs/en/schools-of-the-future/ ) programme unit, which focuses on young people and their involvement in artistic, educational, and social activities.\nAbout the play:\nCan we destroy everything fully aware of what is happening? Thanks to the progress of science and humanity, we will witness the end of the world. The man is taking away the land from his children and is not worried. He treats the (Mother) Earth as a thing that can be bought, plundered, or sold as a herd of cattle or shiny jewellery. His greed will one day swallow the Earth and leave only desolation. Air is precious to man because all living beings share the same breath. It seems that people do not notice the air they breathe. As a person who expires for days, they’re stiff from polluted and bad air. We know that Earth does not belong to us. Keep dirtying your bed, and one night you will suffocate in your own garbage. It is the end of life and the beginning of the struggle for survival. What are we willing to give up to stop this catastrophe?\nDrama pedagogue: Sonja Leštar\nDirector: Maja Grgić\nSet and costume designer: Đorđe Marković\nAugmented Reality: Stanislav Grgić\nSound design: Milan Inić and Stefan Sabo\nYoung co-authors and performes: Stefan Sabo / Lena Bognar / Jana Janković / Vojo Ćetković / Nikola Bogdanović / Ilija Bogdanović / Ana Sarić / Aleksa Tucakov / Jovana Grabež / Milana Stojanović / Isidora Lakić / Marija Đurđević / Anđela Andrijević / Amelia Stakić / Hana Gusić / Magdalena Kanja / Petra Jovanović / Jovana Dugonjić / Emina Durić / Pavle Hrnčić / Nina Lazić / Dušan Trbojević / Sofija Marić / Medina Ramadani / Vanja Djurišić / Milan Inić / Mateja Kardelis / Vanja Halupa / Nikolina Đenadija / Danijela Savanović\nSupported by the City of Novi Sad and the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia.\nAbout the festival:\nThe theatre festival, created within the EYE.net 2.0 project, will be held from 5 to 8 April in Novi Sad high schools and Zone 021. By turning schools into art scenes and cultural institutions into centres of education, the ‘EYE.net’ project engages young people who, through working with excellent artists as mentors, create their own content, i.e., theatre performances.
