DESCRIPTION:Belgrade group ‘Kanda, Kodža i Nebojša’ will perform in the Suburbium of Petrovaradin Fortress on 31 December, at 10 p.m. The alternative rock stars will hold a concert on Štrosmajerova Street, within the unique exhibition ‘Tesla – Light Gallery’ ( https://kalendar.novisad2022.rs/en/events/tesla-light-gallery/ ).\nThe group has recently turned 30, and they celebrated this anniversary with a vinyl named ‘Popis’, on which new arrangements of the songs that make up their performance oeuvre can be found. Last summer they released a new single ‘Tamo gde je sunčano’, in anticipation of their new album coming out in 2022.\nThe entrance is free of charge.\n\nThe ‘Tesla Light Gallery’ ( https://kalendar.novisad2022.rs/en/events/tesla-light-gallery/ ) is a product of the creative synergy of several famous international artists from different cities, who are proud of the European Capital of Culture title. A group of artists will take citizens through the inspiring spaces of the Baroque town, transformed through powerful art interventions. Space installations will reveal the different aspects of light as a tool for artistic expression that puts into focus diverse Tesla’s discoveries, as well as Tesla’s unfulfilled dreams.\nThe Rainbow Bridge, historic buildings in Beogradska Street and the Belgrade Gate itself – all architectural objects we will pass by – will be transformed into a monumental play of light, movement and sound through fixed, dynamic, wireless and interactive audio-visual lighting technologies, including 3D projections.
