DESCRIPTION:The Novi Sad DJ duo Noise Destruction will perform in the Suburbium of the Petrovaradin Fortress, near the Belgrade Gate, on New Year’s Eve, 31 December at 10 p.m., within the unrepeatable exhibition ‘Tesla – Light Gallery’ ( https://kalendar.novisad2022.rs/en/events/tesla-light-gallery/ ) that will provide the visitors with a unique audio-visual experience. The performance starts at 11:15 p.m.\nThe group Noise Destruction was formed in 1992 and is one of the pioneers of the electronic music scene in Serbia. The duo, including Željko Joahimstal, better known as DJ Fakir, and Zoran Nikolić, aka Z, is known to the general public for their hit ‘Laki je malo nervozan’.\nThe entrance is free of charge.\n\nThe ‘Tesla Light Gallery’ ( https://kalendar.novisad2022.rs/en/events/tesla-light-gallery/ ) is a product of the creative synergy of several famous international artists from different cities, who are proud of the European Capital of Culture title. A group of artists will take citizens through the inspiring spaces of the Baroque town, transformed through powerful art interventions. Space installations will reveal the different aspects of light as a tool for artistic expression that puts into focus diverse Tesla’s discoveries, as well as Tesla’s unfulfilled dreams.\nThe Rainbow Bridge, historic buildings in Beogradska Street and the Belgrade Gate itself – all architectural objects we will pass by – will be transformed into a monumental play of light, movement and sound through fixed, dynamic, wireless and interactive audio-visual lighting technologies, including 3D projections. But words are just not enough here: the light gallery is something you must experience live!\nPartner in the ‘Tesla Light Gallery’ project is NIS.\n
