DESCRIPTION:Electro trio from Vienna – ‘Elektro Guzzi’ will perform on New Year’s Eve, 31 December at 10 p.m., within the Doček programme arch and unrepeatable exhibition ‘Tesla – Light Gallery’ ( https://kalendar.novisad2022.rs/en/events/tesla-light-gallery/ ) that will provide the visitors with a unique audio-visual experience.\n‘Elektro Guzzi’ have been performing their unique type of hypnotic dance music at festivals and clubs all around the globe for more than a decade. You can watch their performance in Prote Mihaldžića Square in the Suburbium of the Petrovaradin Fortress, on 31 December from 10 p.m. Directly following the concert is a performance from an Italian scientist, composer, and multimedia artist Alberto Novello, who is known for reusing found or deconstructed analogue devices from the past (oscilloscopes, early gaming consoles, video mixers and lasers) for the purpose of exploring the link between sound and light in the shape of contemplative installations and performances.\nThe entrance is free of charge.\n\nThe ‘Tesla Light Gallery’ ( https://kalendar.novisad2022.rs/en/events/tesla-light-gallery/ ) is a product of the creative synergy of several famous international artists from different cities, who are proud of the European Capital of Culture title. A group of artists will take citizens through the inspiring spaces of the Baroque town, transformed through powerful art interventions. Space installations will reveal the different aspects of light as a tool for artistic expression that puts into focus diverse Tesla’s discoveries, as well as Tesla’s unfulfilled dreams.\nThe Rainbow Bridge, historic buildings in Beogradska Street and the Belgrade Gate itself – all architectural objects we will pass by – will be transformed into a monumental play of light, movement and sound through fixed, dynamic, wireless and interactive audio-visual lighting technologies, including 3D projections.
