DESCRIPTION:Skier and Yeti will hold a concert on Stage 1, in the Creative District on 30 April, as part of the three-day Flags of the Future ( https://kalendar.novisad2022.rs/future-of-europe ) event.\nSkier and Yeti consists of two costumed virtuosos who will take you on a ride through funk, drum and bass, low rock, electro, and ethnic sounds. Yeti’s mini-set of electro-acoustic drums is enough for unparalleled grooves, while Skier imaginatively uses his hand-made inventions – Baskija and Skimburica, employing the slide technique and the occasional bow. This unusual duo from the artistic underground of Belgrade offers a show enriched with on-the-spot improvisation, inspired by the audience and the ambience in which they perform.\n\nThe group was formed in 2016, and so far, they have performed at music and film events, as well as modern circus festivals in the Netherlands, Slovenia, Croatia, and Serbia.\nThe ‘Flags of the Future’ programme is sponsored by: IDEA ( https://www.idea.rs/ ), DDOR ( https://www.ddor.rs/ ), and A1 Srbija ( .rs/privatni ).\nPhoto: Grafonola\n
