DESCRIPTION:The two great international artists, Alberto Novello from Italy and Ivan Marušić Klif from Croatia will be part of the unique exhibition ‘Tesla – Light Gallery’ ( https://kalendar.novisad2022.rs/en/events/tesla-light-gallery/ ), the never-before-seen in the region.\nIn addition to solo performances, in the Suburbium of the Petrovaradin Fortress, on 31 December, Novello will present himself with the light installation ‘Laser Drawing ( https://kalendar.novisad2022.rs/en/events/alberto-novello-laser-drawing/ )’, while Marušić will present his audio-visual performance ‘Kinetic Rescanning’ ( https://kalendar.novisad2022.rs/en/events/ivan-marusic-klif-kinetic-rescanning-2/ ). The two artists create a true audio-visual spectacle for the exhibition ‘Tesla – Light Gallery’ ( https://kalendar.novisad2022.rs/en/events/tesla-light-gallery/ ).\nOn the first day of 2022, at 5 p.m., the Petrovaradin Fortress will become the canvas on which Alberto Novello and Ivan Marušić Klif will paint with light beams and lasers forming the unusual digital projection on the other side of the Danube.\nAll sources of light will be responding to music and sounds, thus creating a completely immersive experience. At the end of the performance, we can expect an interactive installation during which the audience will have a chance to control lasers to experience how it looks like to draw with lights on the Petrovaradin Fortress.\nThe ‘Tesla Light Gallery’ ( https://kalendar.novisad2022.rs/en/events/tesla-light-gallery/ ) is a product of the creative synergy of several famous international artists from different cities, who are proud of the European Capital of Culture title. A group of artists will take citizens through the inspiring spaces of the Baroque town, transformed through powerful art interventions. Space installations will reveal the different aspects of light as a tool for artistic expression that puts into focus diverse Tesla’s discoveries, as well as Tesla’s unfulfilled dreams.\nThe Rainbow Bridge, historic buildings in Beogradska Street and the Belgrade Gate itself – all architectural objects we will pass by – will be transformed into a monumental play of light, movement and sound through fixed, dynamic, wireless and interactive audio-visual lighting technologies, including 3D projections.
