DESCRIPTION:An interview with the artist Bojana S. Knežević, PhD, will be held on 16 June at 7 p.m. during the exhibition ‘Heroines of the Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection’.\nThe multimedia exhibition ‘Heroines of the Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection’ will be on display during the Heroines programme arch between 20 May and 15 July in the Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection.\nIn her essay in the exhibition catalogue, feminist art theorist Vera Kopicl draws parallels between contemporary Novi Sad artists and those represented in Pavle Beljanski’s collection. One of those contemporary artists is Bojana Knežević, and during the conversation with her, we’ll expand on the young author’s artistic preoccupations – playing with national and gender identities. At the same time, the interview is an opportunity to present Bojana Knežević’s artistic biography as well as her work with students at the Novi Sad Art Academy, where she works.
