DESCRIPTION:The workshop ‘DAY#1: (MATERIAL) WHAT’S THE WASTE, NOW?’ will be organised within the project ‘(Non)Working Hours – Tuning the Sustainable Community’ at the pavilion on Štrand on 26 July from 2 until 7 p.m.\nWithin a one-week workshop, visitors will have a chance to find out about all segments of the plastic waste recycling process, which has been cleaned up at Štrand and turned into finished designed products.\nThe action includes waste collection, selecting types of waste, preparation for waste shredding, shredding, pressing, extrusion moulding, etc. and a series of discussions dedicated to a completely new approach to work, art, technology, sociability and design.\nThe finale of this one-week adventure will be rounded off with an impro-concert that will combine sounds of machines, instruments made of waste and voices.\nAs part of the project, all citizens will have the opportunity to participate in workshops at the pavilion on Štrand from 2 to 7 p.m.:\n25 July / DAY#0: ESTABLISHING THE BASE ( https://kalendar.novisad2022.rs/en/events/establishing-the-base/ )\n26 July / DAY#1: (MATERIAL) WHAT’S THE WASTE, NOW?
