SUMMARY:Guided Exhibition Tour / Imaginary Borders
DESCRIPTION:Exhibition tours led by a curator, ‘Imaginary Borders’, will be held in Liman Park at the Suba’s Plateau on 6 July from 7 until 8 p.m.\nCuratorial team KURS (Miloš Miletić and Mirjana Radovanović), artist Nataša Prljević and art duo Rena Rädle and Vladan Jeremić will speak about the exhibition and works. The audience will have a chance to find out about the exhibition concept and talk with the artists at the plateau.\nThe exhibition will be organised from 23 June until 28 August in Liman Park at the Suba’s Plateau, within the ‘Fortress of Peace’ programme arch as part of the ‘Novi Sad – European Capital of Culture’ project in 2022.\nParticipants of the exhibition are Alaa Abu Asad and Ulufer Çelİk (Palestine and Turkey, the Netherlands), Selma Asotić (Bosnia and Herzegovina, USA), SABA – Silvia Amancei and Bogdan Armanu (Romania), Nika Autor (Slovenia), bak.ma digital media archive of social movements (Özge Çelikaslan, Bilge Emir) (Turkey), Leslie Fernandez Barrera (Chile), Focus Group (Croatia), Jelena Grujičić (Serbia), Vladan Jeremić and Rena Rädle (Serbia), Filip Jovanovski and Ivana Vaseva (North Macedonia), Ena Jurov (Croatia), Adela Jušić (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Yazan Khalili (Palestine), Uroš Krčadinac (Serbia), Haytham el-Wardany (Egypt), Bojan Mrđenović (Croatia), Paula Baeza Pailamilla, curator Ignacio Szmulewicz (Chile), Clean Water Access (Serbia), Nataša Prljević and Joshua Nierodzinski (Serbia, USA), Barış Seyitvan (Turkey), Daniel Toca (Mexico), Jaśmina Wójcik (Poland), Ala Younis (Jordan).\nThe exhibition is divided into three parts and focuses on social phenomena in which we live, which are part of the heritage of Europe, such as Eurocentrism, legacies of colonialism, neo-colonialism, exploitation, migration, Frontex.
