SUMMARY:The Hidden World of Insects / Pannonian Garden
DESCRIPTION:‘The Hidden World of Insects’ workshop will be held as part of the ‘Pannonian Garden’ project on 24 and 31 July from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pavilion on Štrand ( https://kalendar.novisad2022.rs/en/events/pavilion-on-strand/ ).\nPart of the workshop will be dedicated to the presentation of the Habiprot association, and the second part will be devoted to familiarising the general public with a group of insects. At the workshop, collections of insects will be shown as well as insects under the microscope, and all the diversity of the insect world.\nThe number of places at the workshop is not limited, but we recommend that you announce your presence via the link ( https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc0mwyoJh5qeBiTN_mGEteFghnNw9y1Ayl5o0sBikm-r6AdJA/viewform ).\nThe workshop is organized by the „Econaut“ association in cooperation with the „Habiprot“ association from Novi Sad.\nAll visitors will be able to download digital copies of the publications „100 plants for pollinators“ and „Introduction to garden communities“ during the workshops that „Econaut“ organizes with its partners.\nCheck out the schedule of other workshops within the ‘Pannonian Garden’ project:\n23 July, from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. – ‘A Walk with a Biologist’ / Kamenica Park\n23 July, from 4 to 7 p.m. – ‘Bees – More Than Honey’ / Pavilion on Štrand\n24 July, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. – ‘The Hidden World of Insects’ / Pavilion on Štrand\n24 July, from 3 to 7 p.m. – ‘Fascinating Neuroscience’ / Pavilion on Štrand\n31 July, from 10 to 1 p.m. – ‘The Hidden World of Insects’ / Pavilion on Štrand\nThe ‘Pannonian Garden’ project is implemented during The Danube Sea programme arch and includes ecological educational workshops and lectures.\nThe presentation of the cultural heritage and the preservation of the natural resources of one of the largest European rivers form the basic idea of this programme arch.
