DESCRIPTION:The sixth edition of the contemporary dance festival ‘Tanz Platz’ will be held from 1 to 4 September, at SCCNS Fabrika ( http://www.skcns.org/ ), within the Kaleidoscope of Culture ( https://kaleidoskopkulture.com/en/kaleidoscope-calendar/ ) programme.\nTanz Platz is an event that aims to present young figures on the European scene and trends in contemporary dance. This festival was created with the support of the dance platform Aerowaves, within the Creative Europe – Culture programme, whose central focus is on young, (internationally) unestablished contemporary dancers, choreographers, and other professionals who deal with this type of art.\nThe sixth edition of the contemporary dance festival ‘Tanz Platz’ has brought forth new challenges and forms, so this programme will compose of performances as well as talks with the artists. The guests who will participate come from Spain, Japan, Sweden, Greece, Brazil, and Serbia.\nThe multi-day programme will include three plays from the 2021/22 selection of the Aerowaves artist, and to further enrich it, an artist from Japan established choreographer Satoshi Kudo will perform his ‘Monologue-Unreliable Narrator’. All performances will be followed by a discussion with the audience moderated by a local expert in the field of contemporary dance.
