DESCRIPTION:The European Capital of Culture presents the exhibition regarding the opening of the new premises of the French Institute. The exhibition by the French contemporary painters will be on view in District from 1 September to 7 October, as part of the opening ( https://kalendar.novisad2022.rs/events/nedelja-otvaranja-kaleidoskop-kulture/ ) of the Kaleidoscope of Culture ( https://kaleidoskopkulture.com/en/kaleidoscope-calendar/ ).\nWithin the opening on 1 September at 7 p.m., the concert of French music by the KLO KLO band ( https://kalendar.novisad2022.rs/en/events/klo-klo-2/ ) will be held.\nThe exhibition represents part of the active and rich French scene by artists of all ages using different artistic styles: Ascal (surrealism), Béatrice Bescond, Grataloup (symbolism), Compiano, Guyomard, Morteyrol (narrative figuration), Kriki (free figuration), Baumann (photography), Dessupoiu, Morel, Plex, Marianne Williams (urban art).\nFurthermore, the opening of the exhibition by the French Contemporary Painters will be accompanied by the following programme:\nOn Thursday, 1 September at 7 p.m., as part of the opening of the new premises of the French Institute in the District and the photography exhibition ‘Aix – Eks’ by the Novi Sad photographer Aleksandar Miškov. Photographs were made in 2022 during the author’s stay in France and show everyday life and hidden, lesser-known parts of the charming French city.\nOn Thursday, 1 September at 6 p.m., as part of the opening of the new premises of the French Institute in the District, the winners of the regional contest for the best Francophone song, Maša Vlaisavljević, Tatjana Savatić, Jovana Lakić and others, accompanied by Aleksandar Dujin at the piano will perform. The repertoire includes the most beautiful French songs, while the special part of the programme will be dedicated to European authors, also performed by Aleksandar Dujin at the piano.\nThe programme has been implemented in cooperation with the EU Info Point Novi Sad.\nPartners of the Kaleidoscope of Culture 2022 are Erste Bank, IDEA, DDOR, A1 Srbija and Heineken Srbija.\nPhoto: Kriki\n
