DESCRIPTION:The promotion of a short-story collection ‘Silver Woods’ (in Serbian Srebrne šume) will be held on 18 September, on the ground floor at SPENS, within the Kaleidoscope of Culture ( https://kaleidoskopkulture.com/en/kaleidoscope-calendar/ ) Literature Week ( https://kaleidoskopkulture.com/en/kaleidoscope-calendar-literature/ ).\nThe short stories of the ‘Silver Woods’ collection were created for years, as a lyrical dialogue with reality and everyday life. The prose thematises the inner and outer world; cityscapes and nature; encounters with people who are simultaneously me and the Other, dreams and psychological and emotional turmoil. The totality of our reality shows itself as a combination of the rational and the irrational, the logical and the illogical. ‘Silver Woods’ is a symbol of the power of writing to convey the said totality of the real form and the unreal essence. As an area of art, they represent the seduction of beauty, novelty, and deeper knowledge, but also the possibility of escapism and the danger of getting lost in it.\nPhoto: Promo\n \n
