SUMMARY:A Breviary of the Streets of Novo Naselje / Booktown
DESCRIPTION:As part of the Kaleidoscope of Culture programme arch and the Literature Week ( https://kaleidoskopkulture.com/en/kaleidoscope-calendar-literature/ ), on 18 September on the ground floor at SPENS, the ‘Breviary of the Streets of Novo Naselje’ publication will be presented.\nhe publication is of a lexical nature and contains biographical data of persons from different historical eras after which the streets of Novo Naselje were named. It is enriched with photographs and maps of the streets of Novo Naselje.\nAfter several years of activity, the ‘Novo kulturno naselje’ organisation launched a kind of research in this part of Novi Sad. The research, the final result of which is a breviary, covers a total of 43 streets, with the name of each street there is a biography of a person after which the street was named. The Breviary of the Streets of Novo Naselje is the first attempt to historically explore a part of Novi Sad, built in the second half of the 20th century, with special reference to the names given to the newly built streets in that period.\nPhoto: Promo\n
