DESCRIPTION:The curator’s guided tour of the exhibition ‘Europe According to Feješ’ will be held at the Cultural Centre of Novi Sad, on 19 and 21 October, as part of the Other? Europe ( https://kalendar.novisad2022.rs/en/other-europe/ ) programme.\nThe lecturers are Senka Latinović and Ilija Gubić.\nThe exhibition of paintings by Emerik Feješ (Osijek, 1904 – Novi Sad, 1969) celebrates his unconventional perception of Europe during the middle part of the 20th century. As a retired button maker, he painted with toothpicks, corn starch, and button paint. Feješ painted the cities of Europe that he wanted to visit, but because of his life in poverty, he could not.\nThe event is accessible to people with physical disabilities.\n\n
