DESCRIPTION:Creative workshops for children ‘Once upon a Time, There Was a Painter. Uroš Predić’ will be held at the Gallery of Matica Srpska, each Saturday from 8 October to 28 January 2023, from 11 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.\n‘Once upon a Time, There Was a Painter. Uroš Predić’ is a new educational programme of the Gallery of Matica Srpska intended for pre-schoolers and primary school children. They will have the opportunity to get to know the world of Uroš Predić and find out interesting facts about his life in the unique Gallery space, through interaction with the works of art. The programme is accompanied by the children’s magazine of the same name in Serbian, English, French and German, which the children will receive as a gift after the visit.\nFor group children’s visits, you must make a reservation by calling 021 48 99 017.\nCreative workshops for children aged 5 to 11 are held every Saturday at the Gallery of Matica Srpska.\nWith museum educators, children will discover stories about the creation of the Gallery and its anniversary in November, while during November, December and January they will get to know the artistic world of Uroš Predić by observing original works of art. They will express their experience and observations during the creative part of the workshop.\nA family guide is available every weekday.\nParents, guardians, and grandparents together with the children will get to know the life and work of Uroš Predić, one of the most important national artists, through role play and interesting tasks and different thematic units, using the special printed family guide ‘Trailing the Painter’s Brush’.\nThe exhibition by the name ‘A Life Dedicated to Beauty and Art’, by one of the greatest Serbian artists, Uroš Predić, will be available during the Other?
