He was appointed an Honorary International Fellow of the Royal Institute of Architecture. His works were awarded the Silver Lion at the Venice Biennale as well as the Gothenburg Sustainability Award. He received the Pritzker Prize in 2016 and was the curator of the 15th Venice Biennale. Since 2020, he is the president of the jury for the Pritzker Prize.\n
