SUMMARY:Workshop and Exhibition ‘Analog Me, Digital Me’ | Kaleidoscope of Culture 2024
DESCRIPTION:The workshop and exhibition ‘Analog Me, Digital Me‘ will take place in District, on the 4 and 5 of October, starting at 7 PM, as part of the visual arts week of Kaleidoscope of Culture. This video art workshop explores the question of identity, questioning what defines us in the analogue world and what in the digital world.\nWho are we, and how would we like others to see us? What is the essential trait that makes us unique?\nUsing personal archives, recorded, and found video material, participants will create their own works, representing themselves as they are or creating an image of how they would like to be.\nThe workshop is primarily intended for high school-aged youth, but participants of all other ages are welcome.\nIn the District, as part of Kaleidoscope of Culture, during the visual arts week, we will present the works created during the workshop.\nThe video installation, composed of works created in the workshop, will be available to the public on the 4th and 5th of October from 7 PM in the open space in front of SKUP. If the weather is unfavourable, the works will be exhibited inside the SKUP space.\nWorkshops will be held on the 21, 22, 28, and 29 of September, and registration is open via email at experimentalsuperstars@gmail.com.\nAdmission is free.\nKaleidoscope of Culture, as the most significant regional arts festival and the best European trend brand, for the seventh time brings together global stars, icons of Serbian art, emerging creators, and the independent art scene.\nFor more information about the programme, please visit the official Kaleidoscope of Culture website.
