DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\nCANCELED! Due to the great tragedy that befell our city, the „Ageless“ festival is cancelled. Information about the new date of the festival and tickets will be announced in the following period. We sympathize with our fellow citizens and their families at this difficult time.\n \nThe Festival Ageless will be held on November 1st and 2nd at the Novi Sad Theatre (Újvidéki Színház). It is Serbia’s first artistically engaged festival dedicated to exploring and raising awareness about the issue of discrimination against older people.\nOrganized by the Novi Sad – European Capital of Culture Foundation in collaboration with the Artičoka Association and the Red Cross of Serbia, the festival aims to shed light on the often overlooked and deeply ingrained prejudices against the elderly in society.\nThrough an interdisciplinary approach, Ageless addresses various forms of discrimination faced by older people, particularly in the areas of social and pension policies, gender equality, employment, healthcare, with special attention to the pervasive violence against the elderly.
