DESCRIPTION:CANCELED! \nDue to the great tragedy that befell our city, the „Timeless“ festival is cancelled. Information about the new date of the festival and tickets will be announced in the following period. We sympathize with our fellow citizens and their families at this difficult time.\n \nThe play „Awakened“, part of the Ageless Festival program, will be performed on November 1st in the main hall of the Novi Sad Theatre, starting at 6:00 PM.\nTICKETS\nThe first Ageless Festival brings Awakened, a bold exploration of the challenges of aging and the stereotypes faced by women over 65. The innovation and uniqueness of this project lie not only in launching the first artistically engaged theatrical process specifically designed for older adults but also in the artistic and methodological approach to themes of aging and old age. This is a unique form of community theater for older adults, focusing on women who voluntarily applied to be part of this process through a public call.\nDirector: Branka Bajić Jovanov\nPart of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to charity.\nThe Ageless Festival is Serbia’s first artistically engaged festival dedicated to exploring and raising awareness about age-based discrimination, or ageism, particularly focusing on older people. Through an interdisciplinary approach, including theater performances, panels, and musical programs, Ageless encourages open dialogue and sheds light on deeply ingrained prejudices against the elderly in society. The festival is organized by the Novi Sad – European Capital of Culture Foundation in collaboration with the Artičoka Association and the Red Cross of Serbia.\n
