DESCRIPTION:The exhibition ‘Migrations on the Territory of Bačka and Banat in 18th and 19th Centuries Through Selected Documents of Bács-Bodrog, Temes and Torontál Counties’ will open in the gallery of the Archives of Vojvodina on 9 February 2022 at 1 p.m.\nSparked by the title year of the European Capital of Culture, the exhibition, oragnised within the Migrations programme arch, will offer an insight into the exceptionally dynamic history of settlements of various European nations in Vojvodina during the rule of the Habsburg Monarchy.\nAuthors of the exhibition are PhD Dejan Jakšić, Olgica Trbojević, Zagorka Avakumović and Ljiljana Bubnjević.\nThe exhibition includes selected archive documents in order to bring closer to the audience the work of the Archives and cultural heritage it preserves, as well as the history of this area on which multinationalism, multiculturalism and multiconfessionalism left a deep mark on migrations of nations during 18th and 19th centuries.\nThe exhibition will remain open until 9 March 2022.\n
