SUMMARY:When did my ancestors move to Novi Sad?
DESCRIPTION:Workshop for children ‘When did my ancestors move to Novi Sad?’ will be held twice, on 17 February for primary school age and on 24 February for high school age. Both workshops will take place at the ‘Prometej’ Gallery from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.\nThe workshops are part of the exhibition ‘The Diaries of Migration: Notes on Novi Sad Families’ which is realized within the Migrations programme arch.\nThe workshop will be dedicated to the making of family trees, and the discussion about the importance of family heritage.\nThrough the exhibition and publication, we present four Novi Sad families Šosberger, Karlavaris, Kapamadžija and Bori – who moved to Novi Sad during different historical periods (from the first half of the 18th to the second half of the 20th century). The exhibition will, apart from children’s workshops, be followed by panels, that is, talks with the family members and about eminent family members of the said families.\nPhoto: Promo\n
