SUMMARY:Youth Deal on Cultural Participation in Europe / The Invasion (UPAD)
DESCRIPTION:International conference ‘Youth Deal on Cultural Participation in Europe’ which is a part of the Future of Europe ( https://novisad2022.rs/en/future-of-europe/ ) programme arch, will be held in Liman Cultural Station from 21 to 23 March, organised by the Student Cultural Centre of Novi Sad and partner institutions from the ‘Be SpectACTive!’ network.\nThe participants of the conference will critically re-examine stereotypes about youth and youth culture, and one of the goals of the conference is to inspire the use of innovative approaches to cultural participation of young people, which will be able to meet the needs of new generations.\nThe conference includes workshops, panel discussions and theatre performances, which will be presented to us by artists from the project ‘Be SpectACTive!’, as well as guests who will present the use of virtual reality in contemporary dance and performing arts.\nDetailed programme of the conference and more information can be found on this link ( http://www.skcns.org/2022/02/14/medjunarodna-konferencija-o-ucescu-mladih-u-kulturi-u-organizaciji-skcns-a/ ).\nFor the duration of the conference at the SCCNS Fabrika, the following plays will be held:\n‘Idiot-Syncrasy’, 21 March, 5 p.m.,\n‘Superfluous’, 21 March, 8.30 p.m.,\n‘2GETHER/AL(L)ONE – (ON)LINE’, 22 March, 8.30 p.m.,\n‘Assimilate’, 23 March, 8.30 p.m.\nNote: the talking programmes at the Conference take place in the Liman Cultural Station ( https://opens.kulturnestanice.rs/en/ ) , while the performances and the international press conference will be held in the program space of the SCCNS Fabrika. The conference will be held in English.\nThe fourth edition of the ‘UPAD’ (The Invasion) festival will be held at SCCNS Fabrika, from 9 to 15 May 2022, within the Future of Europe ( https://kalendar.novisad2022.rs/en/mec-category/future-of-europe/ ) programme arch.\n‘UPAD’ theatre festival was started three years ago by the Student Cultural Centre Novi Sad, as a partner organisation of the European project ‘Be SpectACTive!’ which deals with audience development. The basic idea of ‘The Invasion’ is the promotion and popularisation of theatrical art for young people, and all performances in the programme were chosen by active young spectators.\nPhoto: Promo\n
