SUMMARY:Know Your Rights
DESCRIPTION:The international youth exchange will result in a joint film treating the theme ‘Learn your rights‘ that we will see in the year of the title in the Creative District, on 30 April, and within the Future of Europe ( https://kalendar.novisad2022.rs/en/future-of-europe/ ) programme arch. The programme is by ‘Mafin’ from Novi Sad, in collaboration with the Novi Sad Children’s Cultural Center.\nThe exchange programme includes six young people aged 15 to 18 years from four different cities in Europe. They will get familiarised with all the articles of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. Through the process of non-formal learning and experimental video workshops, the young people will give their answers on the topic of racism, gender equality, peer violence, child marriages, climate change, etc.\nThe result of the joint work will be an experimental film that children will shoot with their phones. The video work will introduce the audience to all members of the Convention, various examples of violation of children’s rights, certain young activists and young people’s suggestions for furthering the application of the Convention.\nThe ‘Flags of the Future’ programme is sponsored by: IDEA ( https://www.idea.rs/ ), DDOR ( https://www.ddor.rs/en/ ), and A1 Srbija ( https://a1.rs/privatni ).\n
