DESCRIPTION:The book promotion of ‘Pavica Mrazović: A Wife, a Mother and a Scientist’ is going to be held within the Heroines ( https://novisad2022.rs/en/heroines/ ) programme unit at the Faculty of Philosophy.\nThe life’s journey of the prominent scientist Pavica Mrazović was truly inspirative. It led her to a teacher in the village Knićanin in Banat, to a professor at the Department of German Studies at the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad, where she was awarded the Gold Goethe Medal in 1987, while just a year later, in 1992, she became the laureate of the Order of Merit.\nThe exhibition and book promotion of ‘Pavica Mrazović: A Wife, a Mother and a Scientist’ represent homage to her life and work, and one of the reasons to implement the project was the circumstance that in 2023, we are anticipating the so-called jubilee – one hundred years since her birth.\nProgramme:\n4 p.m. – opening of the exhibition with medals, works and awards of Prof. Pavica Mrazović. PhD at the Faculty of Philosophy\n5 p.m. – promotion of the book about Pavica Mrazović at the Faculty of Philosophy\n \nPartner of the Heroines programme arch is Erste banka ( https://www.erstebank.rs/sr/ ).\n
