DESCRIPTION:The two-day literary conference ‘River – a Different Danube Anthology’ will be held on 19 and 29 August in the Svilara Cultural Station, within the The Danube Sea ( https://novisad2022.rs/rs/dunavsko-more/ ) programme arch.\nThis conference will gather the authors of the Serbian edition of the ‘Danube Anthology’ and other authors from the Danube region, and on this occasion, there will be organized a reading from the book ‘The River: a different Danube anthology’ encompassing texts on various topics and places, such as sunken islands, bridges, cities, wars, escape and much more. The most significant authors from different languages and works of literature along the Danube are represented. The project will include two book promotions and translation workshops for students of the Faculty of Philosophy.\nOrganizer: Futura publications\nThe event is accessible to people with physical disabilities.\n
