DESCRIPTION:Within the multimedia-based project ‘ARS E FEMMINA ( https://kalendar.novisad2022.rs/events/ars-e-femmina/ )‘ organised as part of the Heroines ( https://kalendar.novisad2022.rs/en/events-calendar-heroines/ ) programme arch, the second programme whole ‘Letters to a Far Beloved’ will take place on 22 May in the Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection.\n‘Letters to a Far Beloved’ is a multimedia project connecting us with Europe on a cultural and historical basis, dealing with the unfulfilled love between famous Ludwig van Beethoven and Janet D’Honrat. While Beethoven was in Vienna at the time, Janet D’Honratt lived in the castle of Schloss in Golubinci. They got united by love, letters and music.\nOriginal play: Mihajlo Vitezović, playwright (inspired by the motifs of Olivera Olja Jelkić’s novel ‘Ludwig’)\nParticipants: Agota Vitkai – Kučera, Jelena Simonović – Kovačević, Nikolina Spasić i Milan Novaković\nAfter this segment, we will have the opportunity to enjoy another whole of the project, ‘Journalists ask the Heroines’, on 7 June at the Serbian National Theatre.\nThe ARS E FEMMINA project is a mixture of several different types of artistic expression – musical, visual, theatrical, literary and multimedia. It presents Novi Sad as a symbol of multiethnicity, tolerance, understanding, education and culture, subtly reminding us of how noble and significant the role of a woman artist is, while at the same time bringing the Novi Sad citizens back to their precious heritage by its innovative and creative approach to portraying historical figures and our contemporaries.\nThe authors of the project are Jelena Simonović Kovačević and Agota Vitkai Kučera.\nThe entire project organizer: DOF production\nErste Bank ( https://www.erstebank.rs/en/private-clients/e-banking/netbanking ) is the partner of the Heroines programme arch.\nFoto: Vladimir Cvetković\n
