Be That 1 / Podcast
Within the project ‘Be That 1’, podcast shows will be organized in cooperation with the Foundation for Culture and Creativity Development in Children and Youth COOLIST at Karlovac High School on 19 April. The shows will deal with selected participants and topics that we touch on in creative workshops of an educational nature. The project is being organized within the Future of Europe programme arch.
Participants: Milan Inić (Yasserstain) – moderator, Milica Crkvenjakov (Dear Girl) – guest speaker, Teodora Đorđević (participant of the ‘Be That 1’ project), Staša Mijić (participant of the ‘Be That 1’ project), and Sofija Dragić (participant of the ‘Be That 1’ project)
The topics we deal with are the transition periods between primary and secondary school, the experience of finding yourself in a new environment, making new friends, love relationships, relationships at school, in the family, with yourself. In each episode, we present a new perspective. Through a conversation on the same topic, we answer the following questions: What is it like to be a FR1END / CRUSH / TEACHER / PARENT / STUDENT – that is, supporting characters become also the main characters.
Promoting civic activism and socio-cultural inclusion of children and youth with different psycho-physical abilities, with the help of new technologies, children and youth with disabilities are enabled to creatively engage in the art, as well as to actively participate in the cultural life of their community.
As part of the ‘Be That 1’ project organized by the Foundation for Culture and Creativity Development in Children and Youth COOLIST, Yasserstain will invite children and young people to participate in creative workshops of an educational nature through social networks, and then present their skills to the public in six sketches. Yasserstain is a group of young people led by Milan Inić, who likes to record sketches, write songs and start conversations, and he is quite successful in that – you can see it all (if you haven’t already!) on the YouTube channel of the same name.
The premiere of all six episodes is on 10 April 2022, when we will have the opportunity to watch the screening live and online (on the Yasserstain YouTube channel), followed by an interactive panel discussion with the audience.
