Presentation of the Idiot-Syncrasy Play / Youth Agreement on Cultural Participation in Europe

During the conference ‘Youth Agreement on Cultural Participation in Europe’ we will have a chance to see the ‘Idiot-Syncrasy’ presentation of the play in 180 ° virtual reality through the ‘Perform Europe’ project, scheduled for 21 March, at SKCNS Fabrika at 5 p.m.

The project emerged from a feeling of absurdity and a desire to change the world by questioning the traditions of Sardinia and the Basque Country through music and dance. Its creators are two London artists Igor Urzelai and Moreno Solinas. This dance performance has been nominated for several prestigious awards – The National Dance Awards 2015, The Total Theatre Awards 2015 and was selected in the Aerowaves 2015 selection and was presented through the British Council Showcase 2015.

The international conference  ‘Youth Agreement on Cultural Participation in Europe’ is part of the ‘Upad’ project, implemented by the Student Cultural Centre Novi Sad and partner institutions from the ‘Be SpectACTive!’ Network, and will be held at the Liman Cultural Station from 21 to 23 March.

The fourth edition of the ‘Upad’ theatre festival will be held in the SCCNS Fabrika from 9 to15 May 2022, within the Future of Europe programme arch.

The ‘Upad’ theatre festival was launched three years ago by the Student Cultural Centre Novi Sad, as a partner organization of the European project ‘Be SpectACTive!’, which deals with audience development. The basic idea of ​​’Upad’ is the promotion and popularization of theatre art for young people, and all performances in the programme were chosen by active young spectators.
