Killo Killo Banda / Warm Up

The concert by Killo Killo Banda will be held within the ‘Warm Up’ festival in public spaces, in the underground passage near the Post Office, on 12 January. The performance starts at 5 p.m.

Killo Killo Banda released the album ‘Pobeda je biti čovek’ last summer. Despite they were recording the album in difficult circumstances during 2020, the band was proud of the result of a challenging and unusual creative process. The album has 11 new tracks, including a remix.

The Banda remained true to themselves and to the original, genuine energy they have been radiating for many years. The tacks represent diverse genres, therefore, we can hear reggae, the most present genre in the previous albums, as well as afro-funk, rock-steady, dub, and hip-hop.

On 12 January, the ‘Warm Up’ concerts will take place at several locations across the city. Local artists and bands will thus announce the beginning of the title year, which officially begins with the programme in the Serbian National Theatre on 13 January, with the great event outdoors, and concerts at dozens of locations across the city.

The idea is to present Novi Sad through music on 12 January, and in that manner, warm up the citizens of Novi Sad and its guests for the upcoming events. In addition to Killo Killp Banda, bands Love Hunters, UV, Dragon’s Fuel, Šinobusi, Zbogom Brus Li, Stefan i akustični gadovi, Klo Klo, Atheist Rap, Plavi ptičić, Gift and Josip A Lisac, will perform within the ‘Warm Up’ festival.
