Karlovci Film Festival was held for the first time in 2018. Since then, it has been regularly held at Duško’s Lookout in Sremski Karlovci.
The festival is competitive, and the jury awards prizes in several categories yearly, the most important of which are those for the best regional and international films. In addition to the two competitive short film selections, the third one shows the Serbian premieres of notable domestic and foreign productions.
The festival is part of the Novi Sad European Capital of Culture 2022 programme, and admission to all events within the festival is free.
Previous editions of the festival were supported by the Provincial Secretariat for Culture, Public Information and Relations with Religious Communities, the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia and the Municipality of Sremski Karlovci.
