Picnic in Novi Sad

The ‘Picnic’ in Kamenica Park in Novi Sad begins on Sunday, 14 August at noon and lasts by the time the sun sets, around 9 p.m.!

For the fifth year in a row, the ‘Kišobran’ (Eng. Umbrella) organisation has been bringing ‘Picnic’, including summer outdoor gatherings in parks and in front of museums, while with the ‘Let’s move the city to nature’ slogan, it brings its audience to Novi Sad.

Participation in ‘Picnic’ is free, and you can bring friends, parents, children, grandparents and pets. Bring blankets and sunscreen, and we will fill your day with wonderful memories that will be a conversation topic for some time.

In addition to the music programme, yoga classes, ‘Picnic circus performers’ and workshops on making and flying kites or paper planes (depending on the wind) will also be organised at the ‘Picnic’.

DJs DOO and Nađa will be a great musical background for enjoying nature. You can also expect a performance by the fantastic Sergio Lounge, while Zaokret, Burger House, and Bubamara ice cream will provide drinks and food, so you don’t have to carry anything over the bridge.

The ‘Picnic’ tries to use as little plastic waste as possible to leave the green surfaces untouched. We would like you to spend a wonderful day in nature with us and continue to do so without us, but let’s also think together about how to dispose of waste and preserve the park so that everyone can enjoy it the same way in the days ahead.
