Expert Lecture: ‘How Good Was the Food?’ / A Neolithic Night’s Dream
‘How Good Was the Food?’ lecture during the exhibition ‘A Neolithic Night’s Dream’ will be held at the Museum of Vojvodina, on 15 September from 6 to 7 p.m.
With the desire to bring that little-known magic of everyday life of the past closer and revive the alchemy of the cuisine of our ancestors, at a time when we lived much more in harmony with nature and when its benefits were abundantly used, the series of the RTS educational and scientific programme ArheoKuhinja (ArcheoKitchen) by the author Milica Popović was created.
Which herbs did the people who lived during the Neolith use instead of pepper? What was bread made out of, what were babies fed, in prehistoric times, and what dishes from the Neolithic era can we still prepare today? You will find out the answers to these and other interesting questions from part of the team behind the implementation of this series.
