Guided Tour of the Exhibition / A Neolithic Night’s Dream
The guided tour of the exhibition ‘A Neolithic Night’s Dream’ by the authors will be organised at the Museum of Vojvodina (35 Dunavska Street) on Tuesdays 4 and 11 October, at 6 p.m. The audience will be guided through the exhibition by the museum adviser and archaeologist Lidija Balj, MA.
The author team of the Museum of Vojvodina and the National Museum of Serbia, made of Lidija Balj, MA, and Andrej Starović, organised a unique journey to the ancient world of prehistoric times, to the Neolithic, for the audience. The exhibition displays the most precious archaeological findings of outstanding beauty from entire Serbia, while the results of the recent studies on the prehistoric age of the region have also been presented.
Part of the exhibition also includes the first realistic presentation of a prehistoric man – the inhabitant of Lepenski Vir, created with the help of modern ‘MetaHuman’ technology, a work by the team of Prof. Sofija Stefanović, PhD.
The exhibition is implemented within the ‘Fortress of Peace’ programme arch of the European Capital of Culture, and it is open to visitors until 15 October.
The event is supported by the national platform ‘Serbia Creates’.
