Marriage
Theatre play Marriage, by the Belgrade Theatre on the Hill, will be performed in the large hall of the NIS building on 3 April at 8 p.m.
Play directed by Milan Karadžić, based on Nikolai Gogol’s work ‘Marriage’ by the Priština National Theatre.
The marriage that Gogol is talking about is not a love marriage. It’s a social obligation, a status symbol, a form-filling that its characters yearn for, and that is exactly what makes them comical.
