The concert Viva Ennio Morricone

The programme features pieces from films such as Once Upon a Time in the West, A Fistful of Dollars, Cinema Paradiso, The Legend of 1900, Malèna, The Mission, Once Upon a Time in America, The Professional, Red Sonja, Hamlet, The Sacristan, and A Fistful of Dynamite – masterpieces by one of the most significant film music composers of all time, Ennio Morricone.

Morricone left an indelible mark on the arts, composing music for over 500 films and series, collaborating with giants like Sergio Leone and Brian De Palma. His works accompany legendary scenes of world cinema and transcend the boundaries of film music through their artistic scope.

The soloist of the evening, Friedrich Kleinhapl, is one of Europe’s leading cellists. He has performed in the most prestigious concert halls worldwide, worked with top orchestras and artists, and is known for expressive interpretations that connect classical music with contemporary expression and popular genres. His artistic dedication and openness to various musical forms make him the ideal partner for this musical and cinematic journey.

The concert is performed by Kamerata Novi Sad, an ensemble that, over the past decade, has established itself as one of the most reputable chamber orchestras in the region.
