Restaging of the ‘Neoplanta’ Play Based on the Novel by László Végel

Novi Sad writer László Végel, one of the most significant regional creators and recipient of numerous awards throughout his decades-long career, is unique in the influence that Novi Sad has had on his work as an author.
The year 2022 is a change for Novi Sad Theatre/Újvidéki Színház to restage his award-winning theatrical piece ‘Neoplanta’ under the direction of Andraš Urban. The play has been implemented within the ‘Migrations’ programme arch.
The performance at the theatre will take place on 11 January at 7 p.m, but that’s not all: during ‘The Migration of Souls’ there will be a staged reading of Végel’s essay ‘The Promised Land’, a kind of postscript to ‘Neoplanta’.
The second performance will take place on 17 February at 7 p.m.

Tickets for the plays in the regular repertoire: RSD 500
Ticket discount (doesn’t relate to the premiere):
Tickets for pupils, students, senior citizens and groups (5 or more people): RSD 300
Working hours of the box office: every workday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. and an hour before each play.
We kindly ask you to get the reserved tickets no later than 48 hours before the play. Cancelled tickets will immediately be available for purchase again.
