Link It, Mark It
The exhibition within the ‘Link It, Mark It’ project will open in the SULUV Gallery and the Small Art Gallery of the Cultural Centre of Novi Sad and lasts until 4 March. The project has been implemented within the ‘Migrations’ programme arch.
The Council of the Association of Fine Artists of Vojvodina came up with the ‘Link It, Mark It’ project, with the idea of creating a programme of exchanges: professional residences in which artists from abroad will work in cooperation with local artists to create works for presentation in several selected locations. The goal is to research and reassess the social phenomena of the nineties in the spaces of Southwestern Europe, as well as their effects on artists who grew up in this region.
Novi Sad artists Dragan Matić and Danijel Babić, and Selman Trtovac from Belgrade, will be joined by artists Arjan Pregl (Ljubljana), Vladimir Frelih (Osijek), and Igor F. Petković (Graz), as well as artists who were formerly asylum seekers. The whole enterprise seeks to create a network for younger generations of artists.
The project has been supported by the Austria Cultural Forum.
