Opening of the Antifestival 2K+
In the year in which Novi Sad celebrates the title of European Capital of Culture, the 2K+ ensemble will present itself in the City Concert Hall on 2 March. The concert starts at 8 p.m., and is implemented within the Migrations programme arch. The repertoire will include compositions of contemporary classical music – that is, those written in the 21st century.
Inspired by the Migrations programme arch, the programme will present local authors (composers) who work outside their native country: Ana Sokolović, Marko Nikodijević and Nemanja Radivojević.
When it comes to the composition of the ensemble, the audience will be able to hear numerous instruments such as flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, percussion, piano, violin, viola, cello and double bass. The members of the ensemble are local and foreign performers highly experienced in performing contemporary classical music.
