Wine Stories

Within the The Danube Sea programme arch, on 12, 13 and 14 August, the ‘Wine Stories’ tours will be held in Irig and Sremski Karlovci, focusing on varieties specific to Fruška Gora.

The ‘Wine Storie’s’ project will enable the residents of Novi Sad and the surroundings to discover the vineyards of Fruska Gora, indigenous grape varieties and the stories of local winemakers. From a historical and contemporary perspective, the participants of the programme will be introduced to the process of making and the heritage of local wines, as well as to the customs that are an integral part of this significant local craft.
