Circus show Escape

The children’s circus show Escape by Olivier Mayrou will be performed at the SKCNS Factory on May 24 at 7 p.m. Performer Matthias Pile takes us through the poetic and burlesque universe of the wandering clown, in a circus show intended for the whole family.

Through the character of Hector, Olivier Mairou reinvents the emblematic figure of the clown in silent cinema, in the burlesque tradition of gags, tics and unexpected reactions. He loses control, finds himself in unexpected situations, but always seeks mercy, in the utopia of a better, more poetic world.

As an acrobat, mime and dancer, Mathias Pile wanders through the obstacles of everyday life, with a performance that perfectly captures the innocence of his hero. This play is performed with the support of the French Institute in Novi Sad and the French Government’s Teatroscope program.

Tickets for the show, at a price of 500 dinars, will be available at the Factory box office on the day of the performance. Admission is free for children up to 14 years old.
