Concert Ladie Soprano – Belcanto Italiano
Four Italian sopranos will perform at the Serbian National Theatre on Sunday, 4 January, at 7:00 PM, in a concert titled Ladie Soprano – Belcanto Italiano.
Following their success on some of the most prestigious Italian opera stages and in concert halls across Europe, four Italian sopranos — Veronica Cardullo, Martina La Malfa, Carmen Lopez, and Sarah Tisba — each acclaimed for leading roles in the operatic repertoire and united in an ensemble that brings innovation to the interpretation of opera literature, as well as the glamour and elegance of Italian bel canto and the warmth of Naples — are coming to Novi Sad.
Accompanied by the Le Muse Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Andrea Albertini, they will perform a programme celebrating the most famous opera arias, as well as Neapolitan songs and film music by Ennio Morricone. Maestro Albertini himself was Morricone’s student and assistant.
The programme will feature renowned arias from operas by Verdi, Puccini, Bizet, and Mascagni, including celebrated pieces such as Habanera, Nessun Dorma, Libiamo, O mio babbino caro, and Un bel dì vedremo, along with Neapolitan songs (of course including Torna a Surriento, plus four surprises), as well as film music by Ennio Morricone and songs made famous by Andrea Bocelli and Céline Dion.
Do not miss the opportunity to mark the beginning of the year with a gala opera concert that will bring Italian glamour and elegance to the stage of the Serbian National Theatre — and into your hearts — leaving the most positive emotions for the year ahead.
