Concert SAUDADE | Duo Documente

On Tuesday, 16 April, at 7 p.m., the Egység Cultural Station will host the Duo Docemente chamber duo, which consists of coloratura soprano Marijana Đuknić and guitarist Nikola Đorđević. The repertoire will include works by Rodrigo, Villa-Lobos, M. de Falla and compositions inspired by the sound of Spain.

Duo Docemente started collaborating during their studies. They had a couple of notable performances such as Night of Museums, World Music Day and New Year’s concerts at the University of Niš. After completing their studies, the collaboration continued and they held several all-night concerts in Niš, Vrnjačka banja, Trstenik, Aleksinac, Prokuplje, etc. They are part of the music programme at art exhibitions in Niš galleries. They participated in renowned competitions as a chamber ensemble at Guitar Art in Belgrade and the Guitar Festival in Pleven (Bulgaria), where they won prestigious prizes. Programme:

7. Fernando Obradors (1897-1945) – Con el Vito (transcr. N. Đorđević) – El Molondron

8. Manuel De Falla (1876-1946) – Siete canciónes populares Españolas I. El paño moruno II. Seguidilla murciana III. Asturiana IV. Jota V. Nana VI. Canción VII. Polo

9. Antonio Carlos Jobim (1927-1994) – One Note Samba – The Girl from Ipanema
