Disagreement / Literary Machine
The ‘Disagreement’ programme within the ‘Literary Machine’ project will be organised in the Bulevar Books bookstore on 19 September.
‘Disagreement’ is the longest-lasting programme organised by the ‘Mračna Komora’ Association, which initially began as a series of independent events within which poets and prose writers discussed their views on literature with the mediation of a moderator. In this way, literature has been presented as a field open to debate, agreement and disagreement, dynamics and creativity, while poets talk about their poetics, creative life experiences, problems related to the publication of their texts, and the dynamics of literary scenes in which they participate.
Sonja Veselinović, a poet and literary critic from Novi Sad, and Uroš Kotlajić, a poet from Belgrade, will enter into a dialogue at 6 p.m., while the programme will be moderated by Branislav Živanović, a poet from Novi Sad.
After the dialogue, at 8 p.m., guests from abroad, Cornelia Hülmbauer, a poet from Austria and Ben Clark, a poet from Spain, will exchange their views. The programme will be moderated by poet Stevan Bradić. The discussion will be led in English, with consecutive interpreting provided for visitors.
