Doček 2024.

The Novi Sad Doček 2024 will be held for the seventh time, as a unique celebration of the New Year on 31 December in Suburbium. The programme on the last day of December, which starts at 8:23 p.m., will be implemented on the stage near the Belgrade Gate, in Prote Mihaldžića Square and in Štrosmajerova Street. In addition to this, on 31 December, Tesla – Light Gallery will create a completely new ambiance of the Baroque jewel of Novi Sad, the Petrovaradin Fortress and Suburbium, through the play of light and sound, and interactive audio-visual art installations. The artworks will be installed in Suburbium, the tunnel, near the Clock, in the park at the Fortress and in the Planetarium.

On 31 December, the indie rock electro disco stars, the band Buč Kesidi, the Belgrade rock band Partibrejkers, the electro-rock sensation  Ljubičice, the leading name of the Paris DJ scene Franck Roger, ABBA RING, who will perform some of ABBA’s most famous hits on the stage at the Belgrade Gate, regionally popular music band Elemental, world music legend Kiril Džajkovski who founded the global phenomenon Balkan Beat, one of the most prominent regional DJs and producers Dejan Milićević will perform on the seventh Doček.

Created as part of the ‘Novi Sad – European Capital of Culture’ project, Doček directly contributed to Novi Sad winning prestigious awards during previous seven years – the award for one of the most successful European Capitals of Culture ‘Melina Mercouri’, the award for the Best European Trend Brand in the field of culture, a prestigious UNESCO list of Creative Cities, while it was twice nominated for the Best European Festival.
