Fruška gora trail
The traditional Fruška Gora trail will be held on April 27 and 28th on this mountain, and the start will be on the first day of the marathon on Popovica at 9 am. You can find the trail maps HERE, while applications are possible via this link.
Fruška Gora trail is a sports competition-recreational manifestation of an international character. It is one of the oldest marathons of this type in Europe, which has been held continuously for more than four decades. At the marathon, there are 15 tracks of different lengths and different heights. All of them are located in the hilly, forest belt of Fruška Gora (97% forest, 3% urban area), which is located only 10 kilometers from Novi Sad. Five trails are certified by ITRA (“International Trail Running Association”) and UTMB and are of a competitive nature, while the remaining ten trails are of a recreational nature and aim to promote a healthy lifestyle and preserve nature, as well as cultural and historical heritage. This sports-recreational event gathers tens of thousands of competitors and recreationists every year.
