I Create, Therefore I Exist

The concert of Petra Spasojević under the name ‘I Create, Therefore I Exist’ will be held at the Egység Cultural Station, on 16 September at 7 p.m., within the Performing Arts Week of the Kaleidoscope of Culture.

Petra Spasojević will hold a concert in which she will present herself as a soloist-performer of classical music, as a performer in a chamber trio, a piano duo, a composer who performs her own compositions, an accompanist for children, and an accompanist for mature musicians.

For the needs of the project, Petra Spasojević made a piano accompaniment to popular songs that will be performed by the Novosadski Damski Hor, and she will also play the accompaniment she composed for the Serbian representatives of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021, Jovana and Dunja, who will be the concert guests.

This concert is a fusion between classical music and modern popular music, which will show the connection between musicians and provide an opportunity to create new connections between artists.

This project is an opportunity for all my talents as an artist to be seen through one concert, in one place. The audience will have a unique opportunity to hear several types of music and listen to artists from the country and abroad. This will contribute to the visibility of this project and in this way will open numerous new opportunities for performances, both for me and for the guests, which will be an additional motivation for me to continue to improve and develop as an artist.

The project is part of the ‘Artists. Now!’ national call for artists, launched by the ‘Novi Sad – European Capital of Culture’ Foundation within the Kaleidoscope of Culture.

From the very beginning, the implementation of the ‘Artists. Now!’ call has been supported by IDEA, which is part of the Mercator-S company.
