Kruder & Dorfmeister
World-famous electro duo ‘Kruder & Dorfmeister’ are coming from Vienna to the Suburbium of Petrovaradin Fortress on 1 January 2022. You can check out their performance near the Belgrade Gate, from 11 p.m. The performance will be realized within the audio-visual exhibition ‘Tesla – Light Gallery’.
‘Kruder & Dorfmeister’ are a group founded in the early 90s when Vienna was the city of the ambitious techno movement. However, Peter Kruder and Richard Dorfmeister have chosen to follow the tradition of the continental cosmic ‘podium’ from the 80s and to seek for the universal language of dance music – under the influence of hip-hop, groove, drum and bass, new wave and music that stood out from all these genres.
This duo is the happiest when people experience their music as an ode to hearing, feelings, music, and tonal language, which is not like many spoken languages of the world, but like body language: universal, global, unifying.
The entrance is free of charge.
The ‘Tesla Light Gallery’ is a product of the creative synergy of several famous international artists from different cities, who are proud of the European Capital of Culture title. A group of artists will take citizens through the inspiring spaces of the Baroque town, transformed through powerful art interventions. Space installations will reveal the different aspects of light as a tool for artistic expression that puts into focus diverse Tesla’s discoveries, as well as Tesla’s unfulfilled dreams.
The Rainbow Bridge, historic buildings in Beogradska Street and the Belgrade Gate itself – all architectural objects we will pass by – will be transformed into a monumental play of light, movement, and sound through fixed, dynamic, wireless, and interactive audio-visual lighting technologies, including 3D projections. But words are just not enough here: the light gallery is something you must experience live!
Partner in the ‘Tesla Light Gallery’ project is NIS.
