Ksenija and the Hunter / Kovilj
The cycle of the educational concerts of music by the well-known Novi Sad composer Aleksandra Vrebalov, titled ‘Ksenija and the Hunter’, performed by the Novi Sad Wind Quintet, will happen on 9th of May in the ‘Laza Kostić’ Elementary School in Kovilj.
With the idea to make music programmes accessible to children aged 5 to 14, there has been prepared a cycle of educational music concerts by the famous Novi Sad composer Alexandra Vrebalov residing and working in the United States.
One of the main strategies of the entire European Capital of Culture programme is the development of the audience. Thinking about the future of Europe, the Novi Sad Wind Quintet conceived an accessible and engaging music programme for children aged 5 to 14, intending to arouse interest, educate and make them visit as many as possible similar cultural events in the city.
The quintet will perform a series of short educational concerts in primary schools, featuring Аgota Vitkai Kučera.

After the Mladost Cultural centre and the Egység Cultural Centre, the concerts ‘Ksenija and the Bishop’ will be held in primary schools in Kovilj and Kać on 9 May and in primary schools in Veternik and in the Cultural and Artistic Society ‘Petefi Sandor’ in Budisava on 11 May.
