Literary conversation: Jasminka Petrović

During the literature week of the sixth Kaleidoscope of Culture in Novi Sad, a conversation with the writer Jasminka Petrović will be held on October 10 at the Mlin Cultural Station, starting at 7 p.m. The most famous Serbian author of books for children and young people, whose works have been translated into almost 30 languages, but also adapted for plays and films (The Summer When I Learned to Fly), will have a book talk with the youngest audience in KS Mlin.

The award-winning children’s books writer, Jasminka Petrović, wrote her first book at the age of 37, and in addition to her literary work, she was also the editor of a children’s show on the radio, but she also created and edited children’s magazines such as National Geographic Junior. Her work encourages readers to question the world they live in, to explore it, to study it and to draw their own conclusions outside of established patterns and matrices.
